As a social worker, I'm deeply attuned to the social, institutional, and community injustices that affect historically oppressed people. My work is grounded in trauma-informed care, and I value collaboration, empowerment, and emotional and physical safety above all else. Over time, you'll build a richer understanding of yourself while working towards goals you choose.

I'm especially attuned to people navigating LGBTQIA+ experiences, trauma, depression, activism, and non-monogamous relationships. Alongside a trauma-informed foundation, I draw on ART, CBT, brainspotting, mindfulness, ACT, DBT, narrative, and solution-focused therapies, and IFS, depending on what fits you.

For those working to understand unconscious bias around race, ability, class, or creed, I bring an antiracist, intersectional, systems-focused lens to support growth and accompliceship.

My Specialties

It’s commonly said that therapists became therapists because of their own experiences. I have many intersectional identities, some of which I’ve specialized in, while other specialties are value based.

This can benefit you because I’ve often tried the interventions we use in session and if I haven’t, I’ll be honest and ask that we explore this avenue together.

My style is authentic and sincere. It’s not uncommon for me to read a book (or read a summary) a client suggests— it benefits you if I understand what you’re talking about and I get to learn something too!
